President Bhandari in Lumbini

President Bidya Devi Bhandari has arrived in Lumbini President Bhandari is scheduled to offering pooja in Lumbini for few hours before leaving for Tilaurakot and Ramgram for inspecting the Buddhist Stupas in the afternoon today itself.

President Bhandari arrived here on the eve of Buddha Jayanti. The county is organizing various programmes since Thursday to mark the 2560th Buddha Jayanti.

President Bhandari is scheduled to stay at Butawal based Nepal Army’s No 22 Brigade, said Purna Prasad Dhakal, a Major at the Bajradal Battalion, Nawalparasi.

President Bhandari will inaugurate the main ceremony of the 2560th Buddha Jayanti to be organized in Lumbini on Saturday. RSS
